Materials / Considered questions

Recycled metals.
A closer look.

Metal purity tells one story. Where a metal comes from tells another. Clear, product-specific information makes a more thoughtful choice possible.

Origin & purity

Not the same question.
Both worth asking.

Recycled precious metal is recovered from existing sources and refined for reuse. Gold purity and recycled content are different attributes: a purity mark alone does not establish recycled origin.

We do not make a collection-wide recycled-content or sustainability claim. Where a supplier documents a particular piece, ask for that evidence before making a sourcing-dependent purchase.

Useful questions include the proportion of recycled material, its source, and what documentation supports the claim. Neither a metal color nor a product photograph answers those questions.

Living with jewelry

01

Keep the details

Save the material disclosures and any supplier documentation that comes with your piece. A general sustainability statement is not a substitute for product-specific evidence.

02

Care for what you own

Appropriate cleaning, careful storage and timely repairs can extend jewelry’s useful life. Care should reflect the metal, gemstones and treatments in the individual piece.
