Care for your piece
Jewelry Care
Small habits help preserve your jewelry.
Gentle everyday care
Remove jewelry before strenuous exercise, swimming, cleaning or activities that could catch or strike a setting. Keep pieces separate in soft pouches to reduce scratching. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals and abrupt temperature changes.
Cleaning by material
For suitable untreated stones and settings, use lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse and dry carefully. Emeralds and treated stones may require special handling. Do not use steam or ultrasonic cleaners without advice for the specific piece.
Inspecting settings
Have loose stones, worn prongs and damaged clasps inspected by a qualified jeweler. Stop wearing a piece if its setting is compromised. Check the supplier’s material and treatment disclosures for specific care instructions.
